Welcome!
As a leadership coach and consultant, I partner with organizations and mission-minded leaders to drive impact and inspire action. I bring two decades of leadership experience across government, human capital, nonprofit, education, philanthropy and politics.
Professional Experience
With a decade of management experience in the public sector, I've led major strategic initiatives, including the design of a new elementary school and a $49M federal grant focused on growing human capital pipelines.
I hold deep experience in policy analysis, program evaluation and landscape analysis for public agencies, nonprofit organizations and foundations. I've also worked in various consulting roles over the years, including at an evaluation and strategic planning firm for the nonprofit sector, and coordinating a regional $1M philanthropic effort to promote early literacy.
Community Work
I have been part of leadership development and community-led social justice work from an early age. As a teen, I led student and parent workshops for service organizations in San Francisco Chinatown, and served as a SF Youth Commissioner and SFUSD Board of Education student delegate. I have continued fulfilling this passion, leading on the Board of Directors for nonprofit Youth Leadership Institute, and advising local political campaigns.
Education
I am a certified Executive Coach via the Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute/UC Berkeley Executive Education. I hold a Master of Public Policy from UCLA's Luskin School of Public Affairs and a B.A. in Political Science from American University. As a skilled facilitator, I excel in strategic planning, design thinking workshops, and community engagement.
Personal
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, I'm a mother of two who enjoys gardening, dancing, traveling, and creating community connections.
My Why
My journey to the present weaves threads together from different points in my life. Lived experiences, skills sets and educational background, family and cultural values of service and honoring one's roots, my strengths and passions; they all intersect here as a leadership coach and social impact consultant.
I get an immense sense of satisfaction and purpose from working with my clients. It fuels me, knowing that I am part of your growth journey to create more positive impact.
It all boils down to hope, and determination for a better future. Burnout from our present moment and a growing wave of inter-generational leadership transition are converging. It's essential to our collective wellbeing to prepare and support the next generations of leaders.
In each of our own individual ways, we are the healers and we are the builders for creating a world where we can all thrive. This is my way.
